Guest Cary-anne Hornsey talks foraging and folklore

Forage, grow and create (Magic of course!)

Has a plant ever told you what to do?

My guest this week is Cary-anne Hornsey a sensitive healer, forager, herbalist, teacher and author. We met years ago just before my first book was published during a workshop that I was running on Plant Spirit Magic and little did we know how transformative that day would become for Cary-anne.

Here she is sharing her story and deep respect for the green world. You’ll learn about the techniques she using for connecting with plants, receiving communication and foraging. Cary-anne also shares how she works with nettle and her favourite ally, Rosemary and how that was used by our ancestors.

Settle in by the fire and listen up!

Cary-anne is an intuitive forager, author, teacher and herbalist. From a very young age she would spend all of her time in the garden with the plants making potions. She then studied a herbal diploma and homeopathy degree and grew her own herbs. She now teaches foraging, is the author of Foraging and Folklore - The Wheel of Nature, a monthly calendar of UK foraging with plant identification, medicinal benefits, folklore and practical recipes. You can find Cary-anne holding circles, retreats and ceremonies and giving talks and workshops at festivals.
